Aluminium profiles are very convenient and easy to work with small to medium scale CNC machines. It is rigid enough for all purpose wood or mild steal working CNC machines. However if you plan to work with strong steels, aluminium profile frame structure might not strong enough for your CNC machine.

Aluminium is durable, lightweight, ductile and malleable metal. Aluminium is the most widely used non-ferrous metal and also naturally generates a protective oxide coating and is highly corrosion resistant. Aluminium is an excellent heat and electricity conductor. Aluminium is non-magnetic and non-sparking. Aluminium is 100% recyclable without any loss of its natural qualities. Due to this benefits it’s good idea to use Aluminium profiles for your DIY CNC machines.

As the name implies “stepper”, these motors are different from regular brushed DC motors. Driving stepper motors are bit more complicated than driving regular brushed DC motor. These complexity comes through stepper motors winding mechanism. So steper motors needs to supply pulse current and this current is generated stepper motor driving board. Stepper motors require phased pulses of current to make them rotate by control steps. In order to do this, we need to send pulse current of varying polarity to its multiple windings. The speed of the motor is determined by the frequency of the pulses. The direction of motor motion is determined by the phasing between the pulses being applied to the various windings. Due to this multiple windings, stepper motors require stepper controllers to energize the phases in a timely sequence to make the motor rotate. With a computer controlled stepping we can achieve very precise positioning and/or speed control. For this reason, stepper motors are the motor of choice for many precision motion control applications including CNC machines.

3D printing technology can be use to manufacturing glass like objects. In this process, it’s converting a powdery substance via a heating process into a solid form is known as sintering. Some existing 3D printers are already using laser technology to create very precise 3D objects from a variety of powdered plastics, resins, metals like materials. Sand and solar energy are widely available natural sources in the desert environment. With combining those natural sources, it’s possible to make glass like objects and using almost 100% free energy and sand as raw material. If the sun can produce enough heat rays to melt sand to the melting point and allow to cool, when it’s solidifies it become a glass like object. The 3D objects being the exact physical counterparts of the computer-drawn 3D designs entered by the designer.
